Season
"The 2nd Week In December"
A New Holiday Comedy
December 11-13, 2026
Written & Directed
by Brack Llewellyn
“The 2nd Week In December” finds the women’s Drama group, The Victoria Theatre Company,
just days away from opening their annual Christmas play, and Murphy’s
Law is in full effect. The director, Jean Latour, finds herself
surrounded by a cast and crew of lovable bumblers.
The
ingénue is being difficult; the props are malfunctioning; the set is a
mess; the male lead, brought in for his “star power,” is an
insufferable diva; the producer shows, up, determined to change the
play into a musical; and who is this mysterious mystery man hanging
about the theatre?
As opening night looms, the pressure mounts, and just about everything that can go wrong does, with hilarious results.
If
you have ever taken part in a play or pageant during the holidays,
you’ll find plenty of laugh-out-loud truth in “The 2nd Week in
December.” Take a break from the Yuletide madness and share some
laughter with the NoneSuch Playmakers.
