The
Plot:
The
lives and times of some very real Southern women take center stage in
this “literary musical review” written and adapted by Paul
Ferguson from stories by North Carolina author Lee Smith. A cast of
five dynamic NoneSuch women (Angela Llewellyn, Cindy Southern Marion,
Heather Elliott, Jane Tucker and newcomer Dani Davis) share honest,
heartfelt stories that every “good ol’ girl” will instantly
recognize, framed by fourteen songs by Matraca Berg and Marshall
Chapman. Our local premiere of this show will have you on your feet
and singing along, and cheering for these “Good Ol’ Girls!”
